Brandie was perfect to work with. We had a long list of boxes to check off of a house. From amount of bedrooms and bathroom’s. Needed a livable basement for a adult daughter that wants to finish her college degree. Own space with easy access for late hours of work. We ran to different surrounding communities and how the morning and afternoon sun was important for our garden. She has a great eye for potential problems with a home. Never tried to talk us into a house that may not have been everything we wanted. Sometimes we had to be reminded about that. We found Brandie after deciding not to use a agent that sent us house after house that didn’t match what we had said what we were looking for. Brandie Eatmon has truly been a lighthouse within the tumultuous storm that has been our family's house hunting experience! My family and I are all new to the home buying process, and have all had our own very specific requirements that we needed our new home to meet. With limitations of a very specific location, very specific layout, and move-in-ready home quality, and all within a tight budget, it felt like we were looking for a "Cinderella's slipper" of a house, and at times we've worried there'll be nothing out there for us that will make us all happy. But Brandie has expertly guided us through the process every step of the way. She's dispelled our worries with endless grace, kindness, and patience. She's been able to make herself available for our myriad questions at all hours of the day, and has been extraordinarily flexible and swift with scheduling showings, and sending over TISH reports and Seller's disclosures. Her practical knowledge and experience with viewing homes has been indispensable, showing us how and where to look for any hidden major problems in the foundation of the home, and urging thorough caution and consideration when it comes to reading through the reports and making a final decision. Linda and her team are amazing. They answered every question I had, thought ahead to things I never would have considered and were very honest and trustworthy. Linda has connections, knowledge and referrals that made me feel so much less anxious about this huge decision. Linda delivers. As a buyer, I was initially interested in buying and building a waterfront cabin with short term rental appeal. While this isn't their specialty, Linda from day one tapped into her network and delivered strategy and tactical guidance. Through the exploratory process Linda demonstrated such a dutiful and intellectually curious approach, and helped me through the complex process of; buying land, finding a builder, navigating itemized cost sheets, and a whole yawning list of other details. She even stuck through the process of navigating an HOA vote with an under contract piece of land (a huge time investment). Ultimately, my build path didn't work out. Where Linda shined best is where it mattered most: when I entered the market (after a winter of licking my builder-dream wounds) I asked about buying a high value waterfront cabin instead, we found together an early opportunity. At 7pm calls were made, and 1pm the next day we're viewing and strategizing with multiple of her curated network opinions, and by 3:30pm I submitted the winning bid by 5k. The home I bought is ... Incredible. It's impossible to capture and communicate all the details of how thoughtful and commited and scrappy and smart Linda+co are. Surely this review is long enough, but perhaps my verbose inspiration is appropriate. So I'll summarize it with this: if you're buying, if you're selling, if you're partnering -- in Linda you can trust. Simply, Linda delivers.
Linda was wonderful to work with! We had to move unexpectedly and in the middle of a remodel because of a job offer. Linda took on all challenges without hesitation. She connected us with an excellent home remodeler and even helped manage the projects. She guided us in setting an appropriate asking price and helped us market our home in the best light. Linda and her team were awesome in helping us buy our home in Minneapolis! Linda not only worked hard at finding places for us to look at, she listened to the subtle issues which could have become deal breakers, such as too much truck traffic on nearby streets. And then, once we committed to closing, she was the best source for the contractors we needed to do the finishing touches, such as who to do a new wood floor to replace the old shag carpet in the owners suite! As people who moved from the east coast, this detailed local knowledge was priceless! We even referred her to some friends who were moving from out of state and they loved her too!

Linda sold a triplex for us, just after Thanksgiving, as we were relaxing in the sunshine of Mexico. She said she prided herself on being a problem solver, so we gave her a lot of problems: A mice infestation, a broken furnace, an impossible tenant, and a buyer inspection that was wrong to the point of abusive. In 1997, we sold our house and land and moved to Warsaw, Poland for a five year commitment. A month before we returned to the US we came back for a week to find jobs and to buy a house...that was when we randomly met Linda Alter. We told her what we were looking for and where without realizing the almost impossibility of the task. We wanted to live in the Summit/Grand area. We wanted two inside garage spaces connected to our living area, a balcony or patio, preferably both, a fireplace, 2, preferably 3, bedrooms, and at least two and a half baths. We were beginning to despair and coming to terms with settling or renting for a time until we could find what we wanted. Long story short, Linda insisted we offer $20,000 more than the list price and we secured our future home which has doubled in value AFTER the house bubble.
